Here we are! Let's start our Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding General Meeting, a milestone for the pan-European bi+ community.

Research shows that many bi+ people of color (POC) often feel more comfortable in general LGBTQ+ POC spaces than in bi+ groups. This interactive session will invite participants to reflect on why this happens and explore ways to bring about change.

This workshop is meant to be a space where we can exchange the best practices we’ve developed over time. Together, we’ll discuss questions like: How can we increase bi+ visibility within the queer community? How can we reach bi+ people outside of queer spaces? How can we make sure specialists, like psychologists and doctors, are bi+ friendly and inclusive?

Many bi+ people attracted to multiple genders, nonbinary people with a trans spectrum identity, and some intersex people with diverse sex characteristics fall outside the binary system that the societal majority belong to. Now it is important that we stand together and strengthen each other, as we often meet the same kinds of discrimination, and our lives are really worth fighting for.

→ The proposed Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment policies were adopted for consideration at the plenary. -> Articles 1 to 5.1 of the proposed constitution were reviewed one by one. Read the details here or on the document published on Shaping the Future page.
