We begin Day 2 with a welcome from Jantine, followed by a brief recap of Day 1 by Aida. Then, the Bi+ Equal Research Team – Jantine, Zeynab, Hilde, and Aida – will present and discuss the key findings from the Bi+ Equal survey, conducted among bi+ groups and activists across Europe. What were the highlights? What surprising insights emerged? Based on the survey, what are their main recommendations for strengthening the bi+ community and shaping a future European bi+ organisation?
The second half of the session will be interactive, with opportunities for both in-person and online participants to ask questions, share your comments and perspectives.
Of course, the Bi+ Equal Research Team won’t miss the chance to learn from you too. With so many brilliant bi+ minds and activists gathered (both in person and online), they'll ask a few quick questions via Mentimeter. Jantine van Lisdonk is the Bi+ Equal Research Director, co-founder of Bi+ Nederland, and a DEI researcher (PhD) and strategic advisor. She is also a perspective-shifting coach for individuals.
Zeynab Peyghambarzadeh (They/Them) is the Bi+ Equal Senior Researcher. They co-founded Spectrum and is a lecturer, queer-feminist activist. Their PhD focused on Iranian bi+ asylum seekers in Turkiye.
Hilde Vossen (She/They) is the Bi+ Equal Mapping Coordinator. She is also co-founder of Bi+ Nederland, co-hosted multiple EuroBiCons, and is a longstanding bi+ activist.
Aida Marukyan (She/Her) is the Bi+ Equal Researcher. She is also an Armenian queer-feminist researcher specialised in grassroots community-based advocacy for LBQ women.
