Bi+ activists around the world have gathered a lot of experience through different kinds of activities and creative approaches to reach their target groups — whether it’s the bi+ community itself, researchers, politicians, or other members of the queer community. No matter where we are, we often face the same problems: bi erasure, bi negativity, and the lack of safe spaces. What differs are the social and legal realities around us. But despite these differences, we share similar challenges and goals
This workshop is meant to be a space where we can exchange the best practices we’ve developed over time. Together, we’ll discuss questions like: How can we increase bi+ visibility within the queer community? How can we reach bi+ people outside of queer spaces? How can we make sure specialists, like psychologists and doctors, are bi+ friendly and inclusive?
At the beginning of the workshop,we’ll also gather ideas from participants to make sure we focus on the topics most relevant to everyone
