The Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding General Meeting is taking place soon!
We are delighted to share that Bi+ Equal be hosting the Conference and Founding General Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania, from 20 to 22 October 2025.
The three-day event will include panels, workshops, fun activities, and the governance related activities.
The Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding General Meeting will be a hybrid event and a maximum of 50 participants will be able to attend the evnet in person in Vilnius.
The exact location will be shared after official registration.
Online participation will be possible for the panels, several workshops, and activities related to the Founding General Meeting.
The conference starts on the morning of Monday 20 October and ends on Wednesday 22 October at 3:00 PM local time.
We recommend participants to arrive in Vilnius on Sunday 19 October.
This event consists of Bi+ Equal Conference and the Founding General Meeting (GM) to establish the legal European umbrella entity. The GM will be a space where the structure and key elements of the organisation’s constitution are decided by the community.
We’ve begun a process of research and consultation to shape the future of this entity. Between now and October, we’ll share the results of this work, along with expert consultations and online community workshops.
Please note: The conference language will be English. Unfortunately, due to limited funding, we are unable to offer interpretations.
Estimated costs for attending the event in person:
→ Event participation with accommodation in a single room: €500
→ Event participation with accommodation in a shared room: €350
→ Event participation without accommodation: €175
Participation fee includes lunch and dinner.
Accommodation is offered in the conference hotel and includes four nights and breakfast.
It is possible to apply for a partial or full scholarship to cover travel, accommodation, and event costs.
While our budget is limited, and we aim to enable as many people as possible —from as many pan-European countries as possible— to attend the Bi+ Equal Conference and Founding General Meeting.
We encourage you to seek financial support from your organisation or other sources, and let us know if we can support you in that process. This will make the participation of those with no resources possible.
You can of course make a donation and specify "scholarship" so we can dedicate the amount to this Event.
Please note that participants who receive a scholarship will be sharing rooms.
We will do our best to accommodate roommate preferences at a later stage.

In selecting participants, we will consider multiple criteria:
- We aim to bring together a diverse group of pan-European bi+ activists
- We aim for representation from at least 15 different countries
- As the Founding General Meeting is a core element, we value contributions from those interested in governance
- We welcome both new and experienced bi+ activists to send in a Letter of Interest
We believe that by harnessing the collective power of generosity and compassion, experience and expertise, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of bi+ people.
Our primary goal is to provide a space that connects passionate bi+ activist individuals, groups and organizations, and foster the birth of a strong umbrella bi+ entity.
Through our conference and founding general meeting we aim to foster a sense of community, encouraging collaboration and sharing of ideas, to maximize the impact of the future umbrella bi+ entity.
